The International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV) 2023 conference was held in Seattle, Washington, attracting researchers, scientists, and professionals from various disciplines and backgrounds. The event spanned over 17-21 May, providing a comprehensive platform for attendees to exchange knowledge, collaborate, and explore the latest developments in extracellular vesicles (EV) research.
The TRR259 “Aortic Disease” was awarded a DFG grant of about 14 Mio € for its second funding period (2023 – 2027)! With this extension, we are excited to continue cutting-edge research into aortic diseases in Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Bonn.

The American Heart Association's journal Circulation provides podcasts of recently published research articles in the field of cardiovascular medicine. The podcasts are intended for a general audience and provide a brief overview of the study's main findings and their potential implications for clinical practice. They also include interviews with the study's authors and other experts to provide additional context and perspective on the research. The American Heart Association (AHA) is a nonprofit organization in the United States that funds cardiovascular medical research, educates consumers on healthy living and fosters appropriate cardiac care in an effort to reduce disability and deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke.
The AHA conference takes place annually. The meeting provided an invaluable educational experience and an opportunity to network with top minds in the field, as well as a global community of more than 28000 Medical and Cardiology professionals from every subspecialty.
