The following full-time position of 38.5 hours per week is to be filled as of October 1st, 2023 in the Medical Clinic and Policlinic II of the University Hospital Bonn: Medical-technical assistant (m/f/d)

The University Hospital Bonn (UKB) is a maximum care hospital with more than 1,306 beds. Our more than 8,000 employees take on tasks in research, teaching and patient care as well as in public health at the highest level. Your tasks:

Working with mice, genotyping specific mouse strains and animal care
Cell and molecular biological studies
Preparation of tissue sections and immunohistochemical staining
Microscopy, cell culture
Biochemical and molecular research methods
Participation in laboratory organization and laboratory hygiene

Your profile:

Completed training as a medical-technical assistant or comparable qualification
If possible, with professional experience in biomedical experimental research (experimental animal work, histology, cell culture, RT-PCR, Western blot, ELISA, flow cytometry)
Independent work and a high degree of responsibility
Personal initiative, flexibility, and fun at work
Knowledge of English is an advantage
