The following full-time position of 38.5 hours per week is to be filled as of March 1st, 2024 in the Medical Clinic and Policlinic II of the University Hospital Bonn: Medical-technical assistant (m/f/d)

The University Hospital Bonn (UKB) is a maximum care hospital with more than 1,306 beds. Your tasks:

  • Working with mice, genotyping specific mouse strains and animal care
  • Cell and molecular biological studies
  • Preparation of tissue sections and immunohistochemical staining
  • Microscopy, cell culture
  • Biochemical and molecular research methods
  • Participation in laboratory organization and laboratory hygiene

Your profile:

  • Completed training as a medical-technical assistant or comparable qualification
  • If possible, with professional experience in biomedical experimental research (experimental animal work, histology, cell culture, RT-PCR, Western blot, ELISA, flow cytometry)
  • Independent work and a high degree of responsibility
  • Personal initiative, flexibility, and fun at work
  • Knowledge of English is an advantage
