The 5th International Symposium of the TRR259, themed “New Mechanistic Insights into Aortic Diseases – From Molecular Mechanisms to Clinical Applications,” has come to a successful and inspiring close!
Over the course of three days, more than 100 participants gathered to explore the latest advances in aortic disease research. The program featured a wide range of compelling talks, from molecular pathways to translational approaches, delivered by leading national and international experts from across Europe and the United States.
In addition to the key presentations, the symposium fostered vibrant discussions, networking opportunities, and a strong sense of community among researchers at all career stages. A particular highlight was the poster session, where early-career scientists showcased their innovative work and impressed with creativity, clarity, and scientific depth.
