Travel Recommendations
Arrival by plane
The following airports are best connected to Bonn:
Cologne/ Bonn Airport (CGN)
(distance to Bonn 25 km, 30 min by taxi, or with the airport bus S 60 get off at the station BONN-MARKT)
Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)
(distance to Bonn 90 km, 90 – 100 min by taxi)
Frankfurt Airport (FRA)
A high-speed train (ICE City Express) operates every hour to Bonn via the Train Station in Bonn/Siegburg (train travel time approx. 35 min) or directly to Bonn Central Station (train travel time approx. 45 min)
Arrival by train at Bonn Central Station
It is an approximately 800 m walk from Bonn Central Station to the Uniclub. Alternatively, you can travel by tram as follows:
- Lines 16/63 in the direction of Bad Godesberg or line 66 in the direction of Bad Honnef.
- Get off at the UNIVERSITÄT / MARKT station and follow the signs to Stockenstraße / Markt
- After exiting the subway, turn right and follow along the university building.
- After about 50 meters, turn left through the Koblenzer Tor.
- Directly behind it you will cross the main road, Belderberg.
- On the other side of the street, go straight ahead into Konviktstraße (parallel to the university building).
- After approx. 20 meters, you will reach the Bonn University Club on the left.
Arrival by car
If you arrive by car, we recommend the “Unigarage” (Regina-Pacis-Weg 3, 53111 Bonn), the “Opern-Garage” (Brassertufer, 53111 Bonn) or the “Marktgarage” (Stockenstraße, 53111 Bonn). There are no parking spaces at the venue itself.
